Year Five
Friday 10th January
Well, what a week!
I’m sure you all realise that the decision to close the school hasn’t been taken lightly and has been made with your best interests in mind. We need to keep you all safe. But Mrs Skitt and I are missing you all so much and can’t wait to see you all soon!
We have put together some more work for you to have a go at. Well done to everyone that's had a go so far. If you missed anything, scroll down and have a look. The maths and English follow an order, so make sure you've done Wednesday and Thursday before you do Friday or it won't make sense!
Files highlighted in green are below the information box.

We are still working our way through The Boy at the Back of the Class. If you listened to chapter 8 yesterday, have a listen to chapter 9 today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6QmpOv-nvg
· An art task. From your window, create the scene you can see outside. You could draw, colour, paint, collage... Use anything you have to hand and be creative. Mrs Haslam has done a sketch of her back garden - trying to capture snow was hard!
You can take a picture of any work you do and email it to Mrs Haslam or just bring it into school with you when we are open. If you send a photo, It can added be to a gallery on the year 5 page.
