Harvest celebrations

Children were listening to or singing along with harvest hymns to pick out meaning from the lyrics. What do Christians believe about Harvest? Why is Harvest important to Christians? We made notes and wrote our thoughts in our workbooks. We finished our harvest prayer, to be shared at the service next week. 

To finish our lesson, we had a lovely visit from Reverend Simon, to discuss the service next week and the important parts we have to play. It was great to share our experience with Year 4.
